Günter Grass: The Tin Drum
My contribution to the Project DoeDeMee, where 100 artist over the world were invited to redesign book covers for The Observer’s list of 100 greatest novels of all time. Exhibition launches september 8th in Foyles bookstore gallery in London and profits of sales will go to an ongoing fight against illiteracy.
Helsinki is the World Design Capital in 2012, and one of the many happenings is “Design Goes Washing Jetty”, where City of Helsinki wants to highlight and implement different opportunities to preserve these almost abandoned jetties as visual and functioning components of people’s everyday lives. I made an illustration about the event to Image Magazine.
One of my prints is being sold at Lo Quiero Ahora. Every print is mounted on ecological frames that are made of recycled materials in more than 80% of its composition.
